A journey………………Oltremare

At Oltremare different ecosystems stand side by side in this incredible park; each animal specie  habitat has been created so that the onlooker can discover many things about the world in which we live and that are normally disregarded.

Oltremare is a mixture of history, nature and entertainment as can be seen by it’s magnificent attractions: Pianeta Terra (Planet Earth) tells the story of the birth and evolution of the universe. The life forms that developed on earth and Darwin’s theory. A large glass dome contains an incredible forest from the Cretaceous Period, and Pianeta Mare (Planet Sea)  with a large exhibition of life sized reproduction marine  species from the Adriatic. However, the sea horses in the tanks in this part of the park are real.

The children will love the Laguna dei Delfini (The Dolphin Lagoon) where the dolphins can be admired dancing to choreographies and last but not least the miniature Delta where the Po Delta has been recreated with fish, reptiles and birds typical of this ecosystem.
